GALVANIZING SERVICES FOR METAL PRODUCTS
- Thermodiffusion galvanizing
It is obtained by heating in a container with a diffusion mixture consisting of zinc powder and an inert diluent. The operating temperatures of the coating are 400-700 °C.
- Hot-dip galvanizing
The adhesion of the zinc layer to the surface of metal products is achieved as a result of a diffusion process between molten zinc and iron. The coating usually consists of layers of ferro-zinc alloys with a decreasing iron content as they approach the surface. The outer layer is a layer of almost pure zinc with an iron content of 0.007%.
- Cadmization of hardware
Cadmium plating of fasteners is used in case of its use in aggressive (marine) environments.
