HAIRPIN

The stud is a metal rod with a thread at both ends. According to the method of formation of compounds , there are two types of studs:

  • for screwing into the threaded hole of the housing part;
  • for parts with smooth through holes;

In the first case, the stud must be tightened into the parts with an emphasis in the thread run. In the second case, the connection of the parts is carried out by means of nuts.

Studs of general use for connecting parts with threaded and smooth holes are produced of normal and increased accuracy classes with a diameter of metric thread from 2 to 48. mm. The thread pitch is large, and for diameters over 8 mm – large and small. Studs for parts with smooth holes have threaded ends of the same length
